Charlie’s Angels

Today’s birthday girl is Kate Jackson.

I don’t believe that I’ve ever looked up the signs of the three original actresses who appeared on “Charlie’s Angels” in the seventies.  It’s always easier to discuss their relationships in retrospect.  Still, it makes perfect sense that an Aquarius like Farrah Fawcett would bolt from the series after a single season when paired up with two Scorpios: Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson.

What makes even more sense is that two Cancer women, Cheryl Ladd and Shelley Hack, would round out the cast for most of the show’s five-season run.  Between these watery actresses, they appeared in thirteen of a possible fifteen seasons of the show (five seasons with three actresses appearing in each).  The only other actress to appear on the show besides Fawcett who wasn’t born under a water sign was Tanya Roberts, a Libra who also only lasted a single season as an Angel.

It just goes to show you that these elemental relationships provide a good starting place for long-lasting success.  As a Capricorn, I almost always find myself doing my best work with Virgo or Taurus collaborators.  So I suppose that means that I should be cast in the next “Charlie’s Angels” remake with Blake Lively and Jessica Alba, right?  Right?

  1. Very interesting. As a Taurus I can testify that all my best work relationships are with either Cap, Virgo or fellow Tauri.
