Montel Williams
The birthday boy for July 3 is Montel Williams.
“The Montel Williams Show” was a different kind of talk show. In many respects, it’s greatest strength was its sensitivity to the issues it featured. Far less sensational than most of its counterparts, the show was cancelled because it couldn’t compete with the baby-daddies/big name celebrities/audience giveaways that defined the competition.
The show reflected the spirit of its Cancer host. Williams was sensitive and vulnerable, but a little no-nonsense when some tough love was required. Curiously, he not only shares his last name with Wendy Williams, but he also shares her zodiac sign. Although I’ve only seen her show a few times, I’ve seen her crying more than enough. Cancers have the reputation of being hard-boiled, but just below the surface they’re as soft as they come.

Montel. I’m totally ashamed of you for getting wound up in that money loaning outfit. You know it’s the people who cannot afford it that get caught up in that crap. I thought you liked people. When in the last analacist, you just want more money. I’m so sorry to see this.
